16px;'>妈祖，作为民间神祈，道教神祇，护航海神，自宋经元、明、清等几代传播迄今已延续千年以上。凡有华人居住的沿海，皆建有天后宫。烟台也不例外，在烟台市芝罘区南大街与胜利路交汇处就有一座天后宫，是由福建船帮商贾集资修建的一座供奉海神娘娘(天后圣母)的封闭式古典寺院建筑，具有典型的闽南风格。建筑所有的构件由泉州工匠设计、雕刻、加工、制作，然后用船将石雕、木材从泉州运到烟台。</span></section><section 16px;'>可能也是因为烟台靠海，烟台人民对妈祖的尊敬世代延续，老烟台人都熟知的大庙区域中目前还留有一个古戏台，上书“天后行宫古戏台”，从2010年后烟台每年都会在天后行宫举行妈祖诞辰春祠祭典仪式，又称妈祖文化节，至今已成功举办了多次。与烟台渔民组织的本土节日“渔灯节”不同的是，这个妈祖文化节集文化艺术表演、妈祖祭典仪式、民俗文化展览为一体，历经多年的发展已成为烟台知名的的民俗文化品牌，该文化节一般历经3天左右，深受广大市民喜爱，对于促进烟台与各地经济、文化交流都有着重要意义，文化的包容与碰撞，从此在烟台这片土地上迸发出新的“火花”。</span></section><p
